Yorkshire phlebotomists among those moved in healthcare changes

People with phlebotomy jobs in the Yorkshire town of Rotherham are among those who have been moved as part of healthcare changes in the area.
Recently, the new Community Health Centre was opened on Greasbrough Road, Dinnington Today reports.
As well as phlebotomy, a number of services, including physiotherapy, podiatry, ear care and speech and language therapy, were transferred to the new facility from the old Doncaster Gate Hospital.
The walk-in centre will provide treatment to patients without a referral from a doctor who need urgent but not emergency care and whose GP practice is closed.
Duncan Smales, commissioning and change manager for NHS Rotherham, said: "Rotherham's new primary care centre will provide first class facilities for some of the most important health services used by Rotherham people."
Meanwhile, a new hospital is currently being constructed in Ystrad Mynach, Wales.
The facility will house a total of 255 beds and is expected to be completed by autumn 2011, people seeking UK medical jobs may be interested to discover.
