Medical centre completed in West Yorkshire

A medical centre has been completed in the West Yorkshire town of Todmorden.
In news which may be of interest to people seeking UK medical jobs, the new facility houses a podiatry suite, physiotherapy bays and a pharmacy, among other things.
Located on a site covering 40,000 sq ft, the centre is set out on three floors, Crain's Manchester Business reports.
Costing £6.2 million, the project was completed by Stockport-based building contractor Multibuild.
Meanwhile, another new medical centre is set to be constructed in Peterborough, it was recently revealed.
According to reports in Peterborough Today, the facility will be completed and ready for patient use by April next year.
Chief executive of NHS Peterborough Angela Bailey said: "Patients tell us they want more convenience and choice from the service they receive in their area - for instance, to be able to see a doctor in the evening, or at weekends and when they are away."
