Radiographer receives award

A UK radiographer has been recognised for his achievements, it has emerged.
Robert Law, who is a consultant gastrointestinal radiographer, was awarded with honorary membership by the Royal College of Radiologists for his contribution to the field, Bristol publication the Evening Post reports.
His work involves the diagnosis of cancers of the bowel and oesophagus using X-rays.
He began working at Frenchay Hospital - which is run by North Bristol NHS Trust - in 1974.
Under Mr Law's direction, the hospital's gastrointestinal radiography department has received international recognition.
He also travels around the UK and the world to talk about his work and has contributed to a book which is due to be published soon.
During a recent ceremony in London, the expert was presented with a scroll.
Commenting on his achievement, he said: "I was slightly taken aback but also felt quite proud, both for myself and the service we deliver in Bristol."
