Development may lead to new pharmacy jobs

The opening of a new pharmacy in the UK may lead to the creation of new pharmacy jobs, it has emerged.
Due to open early in the New Year, the centre will be situated on Hayling Island, which is located off the south coast of England.
The National Health Service Litigation Authority (NHSLA) revealed it has given the go-ahead to Butt and Hobbs to open the pharmacy, which will offer a home delivery service, Hayling Island Today reports.
"We are delighted that both the [local primary care trust] and the NHSLA have recognised the need for an independent pharmacy on Hayling Island, something which the islanders have known for some time."
Meanwhile, the Burton Mail recently reported that a new medical centre complete with pharmacy is nearing completion in the Derbyshire village of Church Gresley.
The facility is due to be finished and ready for patients in April next year.
