Audiology project to take place in Wales

A project involving people with hearing aids is to take place in the north Wales town of Wrexham this month.
On December 9th, patients are being invited to attend a focus group discussion in order to help shape the initiative, which is called Hear to Help, local paper the Evening Leader reports.
The meeting is being organised by national charity RNID Cymru and it is intended as a means of giving help to people across the region who are adjusting to life with a hearing aid.
"We're looking forward to hearing from local hearing aid users and stakeholders in Wrexham about the types of services that they would like to see provided by our new Hear to Help project when it is launched in the New Year," stated RNID Cymru research and policy officer Mari Sion.
With roots tracing back to 1911, RNID offers a range of services for deaf and hard of hearing people. It also participates in lobbying and undertakes medical and technical research.
