Consultations to be conducted over new health centre

Public consultations are to take place with regard to a new health centre planned for Middlewich, it has been revealed.
According to a report in the Crewe Chronicle, health executives are in the process of drawing up proposals for the facility.
In news which may be of relevance to those seeking UK medical jobs, the centre will provide a range of services to local people, including a pharmacy.
"We only have draft drawings and plans at the moment but we will be putting them to the people of Middlewich, giving them the opportunity to have their say on the development as, after all, they will be using it," stated Nicola Kent, primary care projects manager for the Central and Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Trust (PCT).
She added that the area needs a new centre as its current GP practices are struggling for space.
Formed in October 2006, the Central and Eastern Cheshire PCT serves a population of 460,000.
