New health centre to open in Yorkshire

The construction of a new health centre in Yorkshire is on schedule, it has been revealed.
According to reports in Goole Today, the facility will enable GPs to work in closer partnership with their primary care trust (PCT) and with hospital-based staff, people with locum doctor jobs may be interested to discover.
The centre, which is due to be completed in December, will be run by the East Riding of Yorkshire PCT - which serves a population of around 325,000.
It will provide a range of services, including dental, therapy and pharmacy.
Commenting on the development, Peter Flood, deputy chief executive of Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: "The creation of a new primary care health centre for Goole is excellent news for local people.
"I am delighted that our trust is working in partnership with the PCT to create this new service which will be located at Goole and District Hospital."
