Investments made in podiatry in Leeds

A health centre in Leeds is to benefit from investments in the services it provides, according to a report in the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The Morley Health Centre will see a number of its treatment rooms converted into a new podiatry suite as part of a £90,000 investment programme, the publication suggests.
In total, £2 million is being invested across 19 centres in the city, people with UK medical jobs may be interested to note.
Improvements are also to be made to car parks, receptions and waiting areas, among other things.
"The programme combines some essential maintenance works with a whole host of schemes to upgrade the buildings' interiors and improve the look and feel of the health centres," stated Jill Copeland, executive director of strategic development for Leeds Primary Care Trust.
Created in October 2006, the trust is responsible for providing health services - including hospitals and GP practices - to people in Leeds.
