Audiology development revealed

A new product designed to help people who suffer from moderate hearing loss is to be launched in the UK.
Named the HearPlus, the device is roughly the size of a jelly bean and will be available to buy over the counter, people with audiology jobs may be interested to learn.
The product, which has been developed by Boots and David Ormerod Hearing Centres, is targeted at individuals who struggle to hear what is being said in crowded places.
Commenting on the offering, audiologist Karen Shepherd said: "Despite a younger attitude, sound definition can naturally deteriorate with age, meaning people are unable to be at their best in situations from the bar to the boardroom," Medical News Today reports.
She added that HearPlus will give such people enhanced hearing when they most need it.
With a history dating back more than 40 years, David Ormerod Hearing Centres has more than 190 outlets in operation across the UK.
