New medical jobs may be created in Yorkshire

A number of new medical jobs may be created in the West Yorkshire town of Pontefract, it has been revealed.
If plans to create a commercial park at the site of a former colliery go ahead, a medical centre will be constructed, which may be welcome news to people seeking UK medical jobs.
In total, more than 1,000 jobs could be created, with the development also featuring proposals for a day nursery and community centre, among other things, the Yorkshire Post reports.
Commenting on the scheme, Councillor Denise Jeffery said: "These plans are another piece in the jigsaw for the regeneration of the district. I am very pleased to see plans being put forward for this key site in Pontefract."
Meanwhile, new medical jobs are also set to be created in Shropshire, with Premier Medical recently announcing it is looking to expand its workforce in the area considerably by the end of the year, the Shropshire Star reported.
