New radiography staff to improve services in the north-east

The addition of new radiography staff along with state-of-the-art equipment means that patients within the Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust can now expect to receive better care.
This is according to a report in the Morpeth Herald, which suggests that the trust has brought waiting times down to between one and two weeks thanks to the developments.
"We're able to see more patients faster, with state-of-the-art technology and our dedicated staff bringing services closer to people's homes," stated Marion Dickson, general manager for clinical support and cancer services.
In a bid to make further improvements, the trust is said to be investing in future staff too, having established links with Teesside and Cumbria universities, people seeking radiography jobs may be interested to hear.
The Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust operates ten hospitals in North Tyneside and Northumberland and sees patients based throughout the north-east of England.
