Salary £52,000 to £68,000
. Experience A&E Doctor required for Teaching NHS Hospital
Based in Northamptonshire this job opportunity is for a Specialist Doctor in A&E. The hospital has 590 beds and serves a local population of 310,000 The Accident & Emergency Department sees approximately 72.000 patients per year and sees 78% of patients within 1 hour. There are separate areas for resuscitation, major and minors and children's areas. We also have an excellent Nurse Practitioner service for minor injuries and a recently opened 5 bedded Observation Ward.
Working within a busy A&E department, the rota will be on a 7 week rolling rota, with an average of 40 hours per week.
There is a typical case mix including Major and Minor Trauma, psychiatric, medical, surgical and paediatric emergencies within the Trust.
In this role you will be responsibilities will include:
* Participate in day to day provision of routine and emergency Medical care
* Supervision and Teaching of FY1 and SHO Doctors
* Active involvement in Audit and the development of departmental policies
* Travel to other Hospitals within the Trust as required
