Based in London this job is an opportunity for an experienced Cardiac Technician to join one of London's leading private hospitals.

As the Lead Cardiac Cath Lab Technician you will possess highly specialist clinical knowledge and skills in a broad range of cardiac physiological investigations to deliver expert care to patients undergoing diagnosis and treatment within in the Cardiology Department. You will also provide managerial and administrative support to the Cardiology Manager, assisting in managing technical resource efficiently and effectively and ensuring the smooth running of a quality invasive and non-invasive service to cardiac patients.
In this role your responsibilities will include:
*Perform a wide range of standard and complex or advanced procedures on adults and paediatrics including, cardiac catheterisations, pacemaker and ICD implantation, EP and ablations, TAVI, ASD and PFO closures, stress testing and ambulatory monitoring.
*Providing technical cover to all areas of the technical service, within the boundaries of your personal competencies including flexible working hours and on call commitment.
*Deputising for the Cardiology Manager when required, assisting with budgets and monthly timesheets, staff development, annual appraisals, and the day to day management of department procedures
*Participating in the process of recruitment of cardiac physiologists and the implementation of strategies that support staff retention.
