Mediplacements are recruiting for a Clinical Psychologist CAMHS who is looking to work in Cheshire.

Pay Rate: 25-40 per hour
Duration: 3-4 Months
Location: Cheshire

To work as part of a Tier 3 CAMHS service to offer assessment and intervention to provide high standards of evidence based client centred care.

To provide case management, clinical assessment and interventions to children, young people and their families with complex mental health needs. The role will include direct and indirect client work as well as consultation and liaison with other professionals around the specialist clinical area of CAMHS. The post-holder will be engaged in all levels of clinical response from urgent assessments to lower priority cases. The post holder will be expected to work as a member of the CAMHS Multi-disciplinary team (MDT). The post holder will need professional registration with appropriate regulatory body e.g. NMC, HCPC and enhanced DBS check with evidence of up to date working together to safeguard children training. The role may include attending multi-disciplinary care panel meeting to discuss young people open to services. Knowledge of working with children and young people with a diagnosis of LD/ASC would be beneficial.
