An opportunity has arisen within Mediplacements for an Audiologist, covering clinics for our client based in London (our client are offering travel allowance).

They have a number of clinics in the following areas:Stratford, Ealing, Sudbury, Golders green, Streatham, Islington, Waterloo, Kentish town, Hornchurch, Dagenham, Peckham, Fulham, Manor house station.

They will place the successful candidate in sites closest to their home postcode.

Job role:
*Undertaking audiological procedures in line with existing clinical guidelines and protocols
*Process patient referrals in line with modality guidelines
*Run Quality Assurance checks on equipment, and action as appropriate
*Review and Develop modality specific protocols, in line with requirements, to support the service
*Adhere to all operational procedures as outlined by the Company
Skills and Qualifications the role requires...
*Masters or Bachelors degree in Audiological Science or equivalent
*BAA/BSA part 1 and part 2
*Membership of RCCP, BAA, HCPC, or relevant professional body
*Demonstrable appreciation of patient care and confidentiality Proven knowledge of the requirements of a audiologists' role in the care of patients, their visitors and carers, and to colleagues
*Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
*Implications of the Data Protection Act and Caldicott Principles
*Infection Control training, Manual Handling and Patient Transfer training, Health and Safety Awareness training
*Competent use of audiological equipment
