Healthcare Assistant Job in Bedford
Up to 8.85 per hour
Permanent - Fulltime

Our client runs an outstanding rehabilitation centre catering to adults with mental health and learning disabilities.

As the healthcare assistant you will be expected to deliver an excellent standard of patient care by engaging in tasks as indicated by the patient's individual care plan, or as delegated by the Senior Healthcare Assistant or Registered Nurse Practitioner. You will be given the opportunity to give input into the assessment, monitoring and evaluating of the patients' conditions.

You will support the day to day activities of the patient and effectively write a clear report on any changes or observations, relating to patients' behaviour. You will also promote excellent therapeutic relationships, promoting the rights of the individual at all times.

Requirements
*Patience and a positive attitude
*Demonstrate effective communication skills in written and oral English
*A keen interest in caring for people who have learning difficulties/ mental health problems / ASC
