Care Home Nurse Job RGN

37.5 hours a week- rotational shift pattern

Mediplacements is currently recruiting for RGN'S to work for a well-established care home. The Home offers residential and nursing care on both long and short term convalescence in a selection of 50 rooms with a choice of single, en-suite or companion occupancy. We are one mile from the city centre on the main bus route making town very accessible.

Job Purpose
To ensure the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct Nursing care and effective supervision of Staff Members. To take management responsibility for a shift as required.

Job Responsibilities
-Responsible to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision.
-To act as deputy for the Matron of the home in her absence
-To promote and participate in the provision of a quality based nursing home service, implementing the philosophy of the home.
-Responsible for the assessment of care needs, development of programs of care and the implementation and evaluation of these programs.
-Demonstrate nursing procedures to qualified and unqualified staff.
-Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the Company's procedure and NMC guidelines.

Minimal qualifications
-NMC registered
-Registered General Nurse qualification
