A Medical Laboratory Assistant/Healthcare Science Support Worker required for an ongoing position in London.. Mediplacements are currently recruiting a Medical Laboratory Assistant/Healthcare Science Support Worker for an ongoing position in London.
You will be a motivated and reliable Band 3/4 MLA working in the Molecular Diagnostic Department, who is committed to high standards, able to meet deadlines and deal with problems in a calm and efficient manner. Fully HPC registered.
The role will involve
-Handling of Clinical Samples in a Laboratory
-Nucleic acid extraction
-Molecular amplification methods
-General Lab duties
-Development of new protocols/procedures for tests/reagents/methods
-£10-£15 ph
-Ongoing/3 Months contract
-ASAP Start Date
-37.5 hours
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills both oral and written, basic numeracy and literacy skills, good understanding of quality assurance principles and procedures.
